Bombardier Derby, April 2009

A special visit was arranged to Bombardier's Litchurch Lane Works in Derby for our Institution's Vice President, Willi Frauenfelds from Bern Lötschberg & Simplon Railway AG.  The works were busy constructing S Stock for London Underground, Class 377/5 for First Capital Connect Thameslink Services and, pictured here with Institution members, Class 378 for London Overground.
