N.B. - The Locomotive & Carriage Institution is not responsible for the organisation and operation of these railtours Charters Helvetica Two charter trains are due to take place in April and August 2010 - see Charters Helvetica 2010 Looking further ahead, it is also planned to operate similar trains in 2011, one of which will mark the Locomotive & Carriage Institution's Centenary. For the first of these weekends we are planning to name a locomotive from the Bern-Lötschberg-Simplon Railway (BLS AG) to mark the event. Many of the previous trains operated by Charters Helvetica in Switzerland have attracted large numbers of Locomotive & Carriage Institution members, so rest-assured, you will be in good company when you travel.
